STEADFAST® EQUINE FAQs

1. What is STEADFAST® EQUINE?

Bodily structures like joints may be impacted over time due to athletic performance, environmental conditions and aging. This is the reason Arenus developed STEADFAST® EQUINE.

STEADFAST® EQUINE is a patent pending health supplement specifically designed to support not only joint integrity but also bones, tendons, ligaments, and other connective tissues through our exclusive components NEM® and TêlaFIRM®.

2. What is NEM®?

NEM®, which is the natural membrane from eggshells, is a unique joint support matrix that provides relief from occasional joint discomfort associated with normal daily activity and supports normal mobility. NEM® is produced in the U.S. and supplies a holistic array of supportive components such as collagen, hyaluronic acid, glucosamine, chondroitin sulfate, dermatan sulfate, desmosine, amino acids and peptides.

3. What is TêlaFIRM®?

TêlaFIRM® is an advanced micro-ingredient system of organic chelated minerals that help optimize the enzyme systems responsible for supporting healthy and normal bone remodeling and the synthesis and cross-linking of important proteins like collagen and keratin, which are found in healthy joints, bones, tendons, and ligaments.

4. My horse is already on supplements. Can I use STEADFAST® EQUINE too?

STEADFAST® EQUINE can be used with other supplements. There is no contraindication for including STEADFAST® EQUINE in your current program. Many owners and trainers have been able to replace several supplements by utilizing the holistic approach of STEADFAST® EQUINE.

5. Will this product replace or be used in addition to other joint supplements?

Many horses are currently on existing traditional joint supplements and there is no problem in using them together, however STEADFAST® EQUINE alone should meet all of your horse’s joint supplement needs.

6. What is the recommended dosage?

The recommended daily dose is one packet per 1100 lbs. of body weight for maintenance. For larger breeds that weigh 1400-1500 lbs., you may consider 1.5-2 packets per day for maintenance. Many horses benefit by beginning with the loading dose of twice the maintenance rate, which is 2 packets per day for 2-4 weeks and then one packet per day for maintenance. At any time. if your horse experiences significant stress or challenges, you may return to the loading dose for additional support.

7. How do I offer STEADFAST® EQUINE to my horse?

STEADFAST® EQUINE is available in single-serving packets that can simply be torn open and offered to your horse.

8. Why is the product in individual packets?

The idea of single packets is to provide a consistent and precise dosage, and also to protect the contents from humidity, light and air exposure in order to guarantee freshness and stability.

9. What are the benefits I should look for?

We have trainers and veterinarians that have reported the following results in their horses:

   • Flexibility and overall comfort
   • More fluid and less discomfort in the joints.
   • Better attitude due to the increased comfort level

10. Why doesn’t your product show glucosamine and chondroitin on the label?

NEM® is a high quality human grade source of glucosamine and chondroitin from the United States. In addition, NEM® contains several other important structural tissue constituents such as hyaluronic acid, dermatan sulfate, desmosine and collagen. We believe the efficacy of STEADFAST® EQUINE is a result of the synergy of the components in NEM®, which are a natural mixture of critical glycosaminoglycans that is superior to supplements only supplying single components of questionable source quality and efficacy.

11. Where is STEADFAST® EQUINE produced?

STEADFAST® EQUINE is formulated and manufactured in the USA. Manufacturing is performed at a FDA veterinary licensed facility.

12. Is STEADFAST® EQUINE safe to use during events? Can it cause a positive test?

The unique combination of NEM®, TêlaFIRM®, Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Biotin collectively provide the building blocks for all structural tissues.
