Peters, who is fresh off a staggering victory at the World Dressage Masters in Palm Beach, Florida, exemplifies talent and horsemanship. Scoring an impressive 84.550% in the Grand Prix freestyle, Peters and his mount Ravel, owned by Akiko Yamazaki, continued a winning streak that has made Americans proud over the past years. Peters made history at the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky when he rode Ravel to the bronze medal in the Grand Prix Special.

Canadian Olympian Jacquie Brooks set a goal for Grand Gesto to compete in the World Dressage Masters, and the 16-year-old Oldenburg gelding reached his career highlight following a successful ride in the Masters Grand Prix Special. Thanks to Gran Gesto’s excellent conditioning he also won the Arenus Performance and Conditioning Award, which is given to one horse at the show whose conditioning enhances its performance.

Olympic rider Pablo Barrios, of Venezuela, is a well-known name on the Winter Equestrian Festival circuit, and during the sixth week of the 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival Barrios and G&C Sinatra won the Arenus Performance and Conditioning Award. G&C Sinatra was recognized for his excellent performance and physical conditioning during the $50,000 C&C Farm Palm Beach Jumping Derby.
