St. Louis, MO (June 29, 2011) If rescue horses could talk, what stories might they tell? Amid such forlorn herds are often forgotten champions once unbeatable in the ring but no match against infirmity or misfortune.
At ReHorse Rescue Ranch in Jamestown, California, director and self-appointed “Barn Mom” Raquelle Van Vleck makes sure every horse that crosses her threshold gets the blue ribbon care they deserve. Part of her winning recipe during their recovery has been supplementing with ASSURE® by Arenus.

In 2010, they won two individual Bronzes at the World Equestrian Games in Lexington, Kentucky, becoming the first U.S. dressage horse and rider in 78 years to win individual medals in a World Championship.
In support of rescue horses less fortunate than Ravel, but no less deserving of colic relief, Arenus will donate approximately $5,000 worth of ASSURE to ReHorse Rescue Ranch and its nearly 50 horses receiving rehabilitation there.
