“In grade school my nickname was “Hooves.” Teri explains her passion for horses has been around all her life, so much so, that other grade-school children gave her a nickname to fit. She grew up trail riding through creek beds and riding to the local gas station with her friends; she was always more interested in her horses and dogs than her Barbie dolls. After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree at the University of Missouri she joined her mother in the show pen and still competes in APHA Western Pleasure and Hunter Under Saddle classes. Teri and her husband share their home with three dogs and a fat cat. As every critter owner knows “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure”, Teri believes in this and is blessed to be able to work so closely with other pet owners.

Stacey has always had a love for horses and all animals. She successfully showed as a junior in Equitation and Hunter divisions, and then it was off to the University of Michigan, where she earned a BFA in Design and began to ride Dressage. In the midst of running a thriving NYC design firm, an invitation to a night at the racetrack changed everything. Realizing how much she missed having horses in her life, and seeing a need for ways to better care for them, she sold the firm and launched Equilite. After many years of studying the herbs, she began to formulate natural herbal products for horses and small animals, beginning with the award-winning SORE NO-MORE® liniment, and expanding to include herbal supplements and flower essences. Arenus purchased the Equilite, SORE NO-MORE, and Botanical Animal brands in 2009. She currently resides in southern FL and remains as a consultant for Arenus focusing on sales, marketing, and product development. The satisfaction comes with knowing she has helped to improve the life of an animal.

Lucy is the newest addition to Kristan’s household. Being raised with dogs all of her life, she knew it was time to get one to grow with her two young daughters. Kristan received a call from a family friend that their family dog had puppies and they were looking for a good home for each of them. Kristan and her family went out to “meet” the puppies, knowing deep down inside they were going to commit to one. The momma, who was a black lab, had a litter of 6 puppies, 5 black and one yellow. Kristan’s daughters were instantly drawn to the yellow one and named her right away. Prior to Lucy joining the family, Kristan received her BS in Special Education/Elementary Education from Fontbonne University. After deciding not to teach in the classroom, she started working in the marketing and tradeshow industry, making her move to the Arenus team in January of 2009.
